The Magic of Tape

As has been mentioned before my Granny is quite thrifty! She has found numerous ways to use tape to hide defects around the house. For example my bed frame happens to be a pale yellow, rather then touch up the thirty year old bed with paint she "disguises" it's need for paint with masking tape. She has found this also works on the old linoleum on the back porch as well, where she has placed the masking tape over the cracks. There's duct tape holding down the carpet on the wrap around porch and the other day she found another way to use the magic of tape. Here is one of the notes she left when I came down to breakfast "Have to give bananas another day I opened it up and had to seal it back up it was hard as rock :( . Love, Grandma."

Pictured here is a banana opened and then sealed with scotch tape. Since we were not able to partake of bananas that morning Granny kindly peeled, cored, and sliced 1 apple for the three of us to share.

Please do not share this information with my husband, he will do the same I am sure of it! He thinks duct tape is the greatest thing ever invented! I am seen some things that should NEVER be duct taped and yet...they are! SCARY to know that his children and wife hide duct tape from him! PLEASE DON'T TELL HIM THAT GRANDMA BELIEVES BANANA'S RIPPEN WITH TAPE!
