The Ride of Her Life!

Easter Sunday was one of those days I don't expect to ever forget and I don't think Granny will forget it either. Family dinner was being held at Mom and Dad's in Temecula 60miles away. It also happened to be a balmy 93 degrees. It was a little too warm to be able to drive Granny and Laura in my non-air conditioned car with back windows that don't go down. It just so happens Laura's car is without A/C as well. This meant that we needed to convince Granny that we needed to take her car because it has A/C. It took 6 hours, me, my sister and Dad to make that happen. Now since Granny is a control Freak the stipulation was that only I could drive...apparently Laura, being the baby of the family (3 years younger than I am) wasn't capable. So even though I had sung in 7 Easter services over the last couple days including one that morning and had already drove 90 miles that morning I got to drive her prized possession. Well, Granny was a little.... um....how shall we say "concerned," here she is clutching the car seat as I drove her beloved car to Temecula!
